BREAKING NEWS: Scottish professional football manager David William Moyes on a verge to sign a contract with 23-years old Netherland Starlet.

West Ham may get in touch with the Torino center-back player in the coming days to see if they can work something out.

He wants to join the team, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.

As they attempt to learn what it would take to entice the Dutchman away from his current club and whether or not he would be willing to

join David Moyes’ side this summer, the East London club may get in touch with Torino in the coming days.

The report claims that Schuurs, who has previously been connected to moves for Leipzig’s Danilho Doekhi and Chelsea defender Trevoh

Chalobah this summer, is on West Ham’s list to bolster the defensive unit.

Kurt Zouma missed 12 games last season due to injury, Nayef Aguerd missed 23, and Thilo Kehrer has been linked with a transfer away

from the club, so West Ham are in need of defensive reinforcements this summer.

The Merseyside club reportedly had a £25.6 million deal rejected earlier in the transfer season, while Schuurs has been linked to Crystal

Palace, Liverpool, Napoli, and others this summer [Tuttosport, via Sport Witness, 6 July].

With confidence and skill on the ball as essential components of his playing style, the Dutch center defender would fit in well at whichever

club he chooses. He could aid the squad in building from the back with calm and precise passing.

This summer, West Ham will consider moving for Schuurs among other choices, and they will analyze the advantages and disadvantages

of each possibility before acting. After standing their ground on the Declan Rice deal, they will not enter into a transaction that does not benefit them.
