BREAKING NEWS: Never say never’… series of talk’s going on outside Tottenham’s training ground
Journalist Michael Bridge has now been providing a deadline day update for Tottenham Hotspur fans outside their training ground.
Ange Postecoglou’s side secured a vital three points against Brentford last night but it seems they could still have work to do today.
As well as recent interest in Conor Gallagher and Antonio Nusa, Tottenham have been linked with a late move for Lucas Bergvall, who was thought to be Barcelona bound.
Of course, there’s then a few possible departures from the club too, including Bryan Gil and Alejo Veliz.
Pitched up outside Tottenham’s training facilities, Bridge provided an update on everything that could happen for the club on deadline day.

Bridge wasn’t too optimistic regarding arrivals for the senior side, but thought a few deals could still be on.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: “It’s very, very unlikely. If anything happens it might be academy wise.

“I know they like Lucas Bergvall, a player based in Sweden. But it does seem to me that in terms of senior players Spurs are done.
“They are absolutely delighted with the business they have done, especially with [Radu] Dragusin, they wanted that defender and they got him in.
“If there is an outgoing it’s possible that we might see Bryan Gil leave on loan today but nothing concrete so far. Bryan Gil has a lot of interest. A couple of clubs in the Premier League and potentially abroad.
“The one we got last night is Alejo Veliz, there is interest from Sevilla. Talks today will continue. He picked up an injury. Ange Postecoglou likes him. But maybe a few months away in La Liga might do him good.
“Here you never say never but it looks like they are done and if they do not making a signing today they are still very happy.”
Whilst some Spurs fans may have been hoping for more, that won’t be the most disheartening update.
And harping back to last night, some fans may still be surprised by how Postecoglou reacted to one player.
