Dominik Szoboszlai of Liverpool makes a cheeky jab at Mo Salah by saying, “hot one.”
At Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai has already been well-liked by the supporters.
Dominik Szoboszlai, a recent addition to Liverpool, poked fun at Mohamed Salah during a rehabilitation session after the team’s victory over Leicester City on Wednesday.
Szoboszlai scored one of the goals as the Reds overcame the Foxes and advanced to the Carabao Cup fourth round at Anfield.
The Reds fell behind right on when Kasey McAteer gave Leicester the lead after just three minutes, but they were able to come back through Cody Gakpo after the break.
On the stroke of seventy, Szoboszlai went up to give Liverpool the lead with a precise shot that arrowed into the top corner of the net.
He managed to make a perfect connection with the ball as he swung his right foot, leaving Foxes goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk clawing at thin air.
It marked the midfielder’s second goal in four games for Liverpool, although he was unable to escape being mocked by Salah at training the following day.
The Egyptian winger was seemingly unhappy with Szoboszlai’s work rate as he shared a photo of the midfielder and Trent Alexander-Arnold on his Instagram story.
The pair appeared to be using their phones in the pool next to the one Salah was in, with the latter adding two disapproving emojis to the image.
Szoboszlai went on to hit back at Salah via his own Instagram story, sharing the same picture alongside the caption: “If you are in the hot one it’s easy!”
The international from Hungary adapted well to Liverpool’s starting lineup and did not take long to win over Merseyside fans.
Having scored twice in his last four outings for the Reds across all competitions, he is currently on a strong run of form.
Even if Salah was quick to make fun of the midfielder’s training antics on social media, it appears that Jurgen Klopp is pleased with how Szoboszlai has launched his Liverpool career.
After the final whistle against Leicester, the Reds manager praised his impact and gave him the go-ahead to keep scoring if he keeps launching shots from distance in the coming days.
“I forgot what I thought when he came. It’s been so long since he was here,” added Klopp.
“It was pretty astounding from the very first minute of training. It is as it is. He really is a great guy. a great man.
The simplest way to join the squad in terms of dressing rooms and other such things.
Boy who exudes confidence instinctively. That is helpful, but what you saw today was the result of a ton of hard effort.
He had two pretty challenging circumstances when he first came on. He entered the game at that point and never left. I don’t need to order him to fire. He is aware of his talent level better than I am.
Another grenade followed that was just a little bit over.
Everyone tries to block him, as you can see in Premier League games, which is why it hasn’t been successful yet. There’s a good chance the ball may be in if it does come through.

Dominik Szoboszlai’s quick start at Liverpool has not surprised Jurgen Klinsmann, who has claimed he is not surprised.
The £60 million Hungary international is already a major favorite among the Anfield supporters after a string of standout performances since his signing from RB Leipzig earlier this summer.
The 22-year-old’s thunderous goal against Leicester on Wednesday night in the League Cup has Liverpool manager Jurgen Klinsmann convinced they have acquired a ‘complete player’.
The Germany icon told ESPN (via The Boot Room), “It’s no surprise to me because he already demonstrated in the Bundesliga his talents, not only to finish off things and score goals, but also his workrate.
It’s not surprising at all because he is a complete player who can affect the outcome of the entire game and who, with the support of his management, can progress from one game to the next and maintain consistency in his performances.
Our new No. 8 has played every single minute of Liverpool’s Premier League campaign and will be eager to impress again tomorrow when we travel to face high-flying Spurs in the capital.
He does appear to the ability to do it all, whether that be spread the ball across the pitch with accuracy or burst the net open with his unreal shooting, and £60m is looking like somewhat of a bargain.
After our dismal campaign last time out it was clear that our midfield needed a revamp.
Szoboszlai, alongside Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch has ensured that both energy and intensity has returned to our engine room and it’s therefore no coincidence that we’ve started the season brilliantly.
Tomorrow’s clash with Ange Postecoglou’s side is the toughest test of our campaign so far so let’s hope the lads can deliver and earn another huge three points!
