Liverpool preparing ‘monumental bid’ for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe
Liverpool have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain megastar Kylian Mbappe once again. And apparently, the Reds are
preparing a ‘monumental bid’ for him.
According to the print version of Spanish outlet AS, via PaisleyGates (h/t Liverpool Echo), the Reds could make a huge offer
for the 24-year-old striker who is in the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe has previously stated that he held talks over a potential Liverpool in the past as they are his mother’s favourite club.
But the modern game runs on money as much as, if not more, emotions.
Whenever we are linked with Mbappe, it seems like a very improbable scenario from the outside. The more and more we
wait, the bigger his reputation gets and the more money he can cost to onboard.
Mbappe to LFC?
Mbappe currently earns a ridiculous £650,000-a-week at the Parc des Princes outfit. It remains to be seen if Liverpool can
match those figures or get anywhere close to it.
Moreover, the French superstar cannot leave as a free agent until July 2024. Hence, PSG would want a respectable sum for
one of the world’s very best players.
The current France national team captain would be an upgrade on virtually any forward in the world due to his age,
potential, current ability and blistering pace. His finishing and dribbling skills are, of course, equally good.

Marca – Liverpool prepared to sign £60.6m midfielder, willing to beat competition
Liverpool have already signed two top quality midfielders and they are prepared to add a third midfielder in the form of
Marco Verratti.
According to a story covered by Marca today (news image provided below), Liverpool are ‘willing to fight’ the
competition to secure the signing of the Italian international.
News – Liverpool prepare ‘monumental bid’ for superstar signing
The famous Spanish news source have mentioned that Atletico Madrid are already in contact with Paris Saint-Germain to
lure the Azzurri star this summer.
PSG are changing their policies, they have already let a ‘big star’ like Messi leave and are willing to sell an ‘untouchable
footballer’ like Mbappe.
In such a scenario, they are also open to offloading 30-year-old Marco Verratti, who still has three years left on his contract
at Parc des Princes.
As far as the asking fee is concerned, the Ligue 1 champions’ initial wish is to get £60.6million (70 million euros) from the
sale of their decorated midfielder.
For Atletico, the biggest threat is the interest from the Premier League where Liverpool (and another unnamed club) are
prepared to sign him.
Marca claim the fact that Liverpool want him ‘could be another stumbling block’ for the Rojiblancos, who cannot compete
with the ‘economic muscle’ of the English teams.
With captain, Jordan Henderson, set to leave after serving for more than a decade, the Reds need an experienced leader in
the center to replace him.
Do you think Marco Verratti should replace Hendo? Should Liverpool bid £60.6million to sign him?
