BREAKING NEWS: Burnley ‘ready to make offer’ for 29 year old star tomorrow.

Having failed to attract Bart Verbruggen from Anderlecht, Burnley have turned their attention to another goalkeeper for

Vincent Kompany as the manager looks to bolster his squad ahead of a tough season ahead.

That man is Jean Butte, who currently plays for Royal Antwerp FC in Belgium (where else?), and moves are well underway

from the Clarets’ end.

This news comes from Sacha Tavolieri on Twitter, as the journalist brings the latest on what Burnley are doing on the

transfer market.

He claims that the newly promoted Premier League side are ‘ready to make an offer’ for the Frenchman ‘in the next days’, as

they ‘accelerate’ their pursuit of him.

The 28-year-old has been with his club since 2020 after signing from Mouscron for €1m, and really impressed in the Jupiler

Pro League with 19 clean sheets in 34 games, during which he conceded only 26 goals.

That’s what will have caught the eye of Burnley, who have now turned their attention to him and have his approval for a

transfer, as he is said to be ‘keen on the move’.
