BREAKING NEWS: Burnley on verge for the signature of 18 year old Belgian starlet , bid of €22m summitted.

The 18 year old starlet, a defender for Anderlecht, has received an offer from Burnley FC, who are recently ready for their eagerly

anticipated return to the Premier League in the 2023–24 season, according to Fabrizio Romano. Still in his teens, the young

Belgian full-back appears to be a significant target as Burnley continues to reinforce its defensive line-up.

Burnley bolsters team for return to Premier League

This news follows the Clarets’ previous strategic signings, which included the acquisition of fullback Dara O’Shea from West

Brom and center back Jordan Beyer from Borussia Monchengladbach. Together, the two made a €22 million dent in

Burnley’s finances. But despite Sadiki being clearly on their radar, the club’s recruitment effort doesn’t seem to be slowing

down.

Reports from Romano on Sadiki’s Potential Action

The club has submitted a proposal for Sadiki of about €1 million, according to Romano, who first announced the news on

Twitter. The player’s agent, Christopher Mandiangu, has already begun to negotiate.

Burnley have officially made a bid for Belgian fullback Noah Sadiki; a €1 million deal is being agreed with Anderlecht,

according to a tweet from Romano. Christopher Mandiangu, the player’s agent, is in contact.

Sadiki – A Young Talent of High Calibre

At just 18, Sadiki’s versatility is a notable draw. He can confidently operate as a right-back, left-back, or even be deployed in

a holding midfield role when needed.

The Belgian youngster has amassed 19 senior appearances for his current club, showcasing his adaptability by playing in

multiple positions. With a career-high value of €2m according to Transfermarkt, and his contract set to expire in just over a

year, Burnley could be looking at a cunning acquisition if they can secure him for their €1m offer.

Potential Burnley Roles for Sadiki

Sadiki, who’s also an U20 international for Belgium, could step into the squad to compete with the likes of O’Shea, Connor

Roberts, and Vitinho for the right-back spot. Alternatively, Burnley may decide to initially loan him out with a view to

integrating him into the first team down the line.

This potential transfer is an interesting one to keep tabs on over the coming weeks as Burnley continue to lay the

groundwork for a triumphant return to the Premier League.

‘Talks still on’ – Burnley still trying to get deal over the line after first offer for goalkeeper was rejected

Burnley is still trying to complete a deal for goalkeeper Jean Butez after Royal Antwerp turned down their initial bid.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, negotiations for the French goalkeeper to join Vincent Kompany’s team are “still in

progress.”

The goalkeeper was mentioned in connection with Burnley earlier this month as the Belgian manager sought to bolster his

team ahead of their return to the Premier League.

He appears to once again be targeting the Belgian market, somewhere he has bought from regularly since arriving at Turf

Moor last summer and knows well following his time managing Anderlecht.

The latest possible arrival from there is Butez, who impressed in the Jupiler Pro League last season, managing 19 clean

sheets in 34 games.

A report three days ago made it clear Burnley were ready to make a move and that the French goalkeeper was keen on a

transfer to England.

Tavolieri now follows that up and says the Clarets have made a first bid but that was ‘rejected’ by Antwerp’s board of directors.

He makes no mention of the fee offered by the Championship champions or what Antwerp are looking for, just that an initial

bid from Burnley has been rejected and talks remain on to find a price they can all agree on.

What that is remains to be seen but it appears Kompany is keen to get Butez and hasn’t been put off by that initial rejection.
