Breaking News: Aryna Sabalenka goes wild as she goes official with ‘love of my life’ boyfriend months after ex’s death
Aryna Sabalenka has gone official with her “love of my life” boyfriend four months after her ex’s death. Having pulled out of Wimbledon on the eve of the tournament through injury, the 26-year-old has been spending her time away from the court with her new beau – Brazilian health food mogul and stock car driver Georgios Frangulis, 35.
This week, Sabalenka shared five loved-up snaps of her with Frangulis on Instagram alongside the caption, ‘Out and about’. Frangulis had earlier uploaded a video and eight pictures, most of which featured Sabalenka, alongside a ‘world’ emoji.
One image included a kiss in a romantic-looking setting. Sabalenka commented on the post in Portuguese, writing: “My love of my life.”

The tennis star’s former boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, died in March aged 42 in what police described as an “apparent suicide”. Sabalenka and Koltsov, who played in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins, were not a couple at the time of his passing.
The world No.3 described Konstantin’s death as an “unthinkable tragedy”. She added: “While we were no longer together, my heart is broken.” She went on to ask for privacy as she grieved.
Sabalenka made the tough decision to withdraw from Wimbledon just hours before her first round match with Emina Bektas. The two-time Australian Open champion had already revealed there was a chance she could pull out of a third major of 2024 due to an ongoing shoulder problem called teres major, which primarily affects her serve.

“I tried everything to get myself ready but unfortunately my shoulder is not cooperating. I pushed myself to the limit in practice today to try my best, but my team explained that playing would only make things much worse. This tournament means so much to me and I promise I’ll be back stronger than ever next year.”
Sabalenka reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2021 and 2023 but missed the 2022 edition due to a ban on Belarusian and Russian players over the ongoing war in Ukraine.
