Breaking news: Arsenal star set to join Champions League club and national table-toppers in January for £45 million.

According to Turkish publication Takvim, the Arsenal star will likely be approached by Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

According to the report, both clubs, which are currently first and second in the Superlig, are ‘expected to make a new move’ for the Arsenal player.

Partey’s future at Arsenal appeared to be in doubt during the summer, with reports linking him to Juventus and the Saudi Pro League.

While nothing concrete came of this speculation, the 30-year-old hasn’t had the best start to the season.

He has only appeared in five games this season, and Mikel Arteta mostly used him as a right-back in August.

Partey has only made one appearance since then. He came off the bench against Chelsea and did not play in Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Sheffield United.

Mikel Arteta confirmed on Tuesday that the Ghana international had an injury setback and could be out for a few weeks.

Takvim mentioned reports that Partey is tired of his limited role and may look to leave in the January transfer window.

In our opinion
Partey is an incredible player, but he’s once again on the sidelines due to injuries.

We’ll see if Arteta decides to sell the £45 million man in the middle of the season. Perhaps he could consider it if there are buyers willing to spend a reasonable sum.

Fenerbahce currently leads the Superliga, while Galatasaray is second and also competing in the Champions League. Both would be excellent options for the Arsenal player.
