Joao Palhinha will not be leaving Fulham this summer, according to club president Tony Khan, who also denied reports that the star midfielder’s contract included a release clause. In July of last year, Palhinha transferred from Sporting to Fulham for a fee of £20 million, and he has since shown himself to be a brilliant worker. The 27-year-old finished far ahead of the pack in tackles made in the Premier League last season, making him one of the league’s most reliable players.
