Mason Mount appears to be going to Liverpool’s rival Manchester United, while the Reds appear to be close to making their first signing of the summer.
Mason Mount has agreed to personal terms with Manchester United, as it appears like Liverpool won’t be able to sign the Chelsea midfielder.
The England international was strongly linked with a move to Anfield during his contract negotiations at Stamford Bridge, and it appeared that Liverpool had been near the front of the line for Mount.
United, though, recently took the lead and appears to have won the 24-year-old’s race at this point. According to The Guardian and other publications, Erik ten Hag’s side and Mount have reached a personal agreement, albeit a fee has not yet been decided.
