Gary Neville has said that Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard would be a great signing for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard is so good that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola would sign him if he got the chance to.
The former Manchester United defender made the comments about Odegaard after watching him in action for Arsenal against Everton.

Neville said on his podcast: “Odegaard, I am not saying he is as good as David Silva or Kevin De Bruyne, I think he has got a bit to go in his career, but he is getting to a point now by where I watch him play, it is so smooth, it is so silky.
“I knew he was always a talented player, but we are now talking about something that is very different than just talented. This is real class.”
The Sky Sports pundit added: ‘Pep Guardiola, I think if you said take one player out of this Arsenal team, I think he would take him in an absolute heartbeat.”

Odegaard knows how to pick a pass and has great vision.
The attacking midfielder has made 92 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The 24-year-old Norwegian has scored 25 goals and given 13 assists in those games.
Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season and will also be determined to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League.
