Arsenal injuries updates as Martin Odegaard is expected to appear in next match

Reports state that Martin Odegaard is anticipated to be fit to return after missing Norway’s matches during the international break.

Martin Odegaard isn’t expected to play for Arsenal this Saturday against Burnley, according to leaks that surfaced prior to the game. This is consistent with a report from Norway that suggests the midfield player won’t be ready for the international break.

Due to his current physical issues, Odegaard will not go with the team to their upcoming matches against Scotland and the Faroe Islands later this month, according to Norwegian broadcaster TV 2.

According to Simon Collings of the Evening Standard, Odegaard’s involvement with Norway is still up for debate and won’t be decided upon until after the Burnley match.

According to Collings and TV 2, Odegaard’s injury experienced during training last week is a new one and has nothing to do with the hip issue that prevented him from starting the match against Sheffield United at the end of October.

The good news is that Odegaard is anticipated to return after the international vacation.

The issue doesn’t seem to be severe enough to prevent the captain of Arsenal from playing for Norway in the future.

Odegaard participated in all 14 of Arsenal’s season opening games, but in the last four games, he has only played 10 minutes and now appears to be out for the remainder of them.

Mikel Arteta would undoubtedly welcome his captain back as soon as possible. It looks like that will probably happen on November 25th, away to Brentford, following the break.
