JUST IN: FIFA top officials has finally revealed Jarell Quansah’s goal for Liverpool vs Toulouse that it should not have been disallowed for five reasons.

Liverpool was denied an equalizer against Toulouse in stoppage time due to a contentious judgment made by the video assistance referee.

Jurgen Klopp was perplexed by the decision to rule out Jarell Quansah’s late goal against Toulouse because of a handball by Alexis Mac Allister.

In his post-match press conference after his team’s 3-2 loss at Stadium TFC, Klopp expressed his opinion that Mac Allister did not control the ball well enough to set up Quansah’s goal past Guillaume Restes deep into stoppage time.

The goal was overturned by referee Georgi Kabakov when he was called to the screen, but there was some misunderstanding during the VAR review because the match referee initially seemed to have given the goal.

But in the end, the goal was disqualified, and VAR specialist Dale Johnson criticized the ruling on X, now known as Twitter, by outlining the five reasons Quansah’s strike ought to have been upheld.

According to Johnson, MacAllister doesn’t move toward the ball and his arm is withdrawn and in close proximity to his body. The ESPN reporter went on to say that the event occurred far back in play, that the ball does not strike Mac Allister on purpose, and that the ball also strikes him high on the arm.

So many reasons why Mac Allister handball is a terrible VAR decision. ❌ Arm close to body ❌ Being withdrawn not moved to ball ❌ High on arm ❌ Not deliberate ❌ Way back in play But this is UEFA, with goals disallowed for any handball in attack phase.

“I only saw the video back now, and for me it’s not a handball, but how can I decide that?” Klopp remarked following the game.

To be honest, I don’t see any contact with the arm once the ball goes to the chest. Perhaps their photo was different from mine.

Before we scored, not too long ago, I asked myself, ‘Where is the free-kick?’ Although I didn’t see it clearly, I’ve heard that there might have been a penalty for us in a different circumstance.

To be honest, I would have preferred it if we had performed better. This is why I am a little more worried. My major concern for tonight is that. akin to a football more combative.
