Breaking News: One Major Reason Why Kevin De Bruyne Might Still Consider Leaving Man City This Summer is Due to…
Kevin De Bruyne currently appears more likely to stay at Manchester City than to leave.
The midfielder has been the subject of speculation for a lot of the summer, with Saudi clubs seeking to land the 33-year-old before the end of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Al-Ittihad have been trying to land the Belgium international.
The Saudi Pro League see De Bruyne as a huge name and feel he could boost their profile.
But it was recently claimed that De Bruyne is reluctant to make the move due to his family and not wanting to uproot them.
The Saudi transfer window closes on October 6, so it’s possible there could be speculation about the maestro for quite a while yet.

In the eyes of Frank Leboeuf, there is one major reason that De Bruyne could still end up making the move this summer.
Frank Leboeuf suggests 115 charges could encourage Kevin De Bruyne to try and leave Man City now
Leboeuf was speaking in a video for ESPN UK about De Bruyne’s future.
The vast majority of City fans are hoping that he is going to stay. When he came back from injury last season, he still put in brilliant numbers even though he wasn’t at his best.
And at the Euros with Belgium, he was head and shoulders above his teammates.
Former City striker Robbie Fowler reckons De Bruyne is still a game-changer for City, and believes he could still be a big Premier League player for the next couple of years.
For former World Cup winner Leboeuf though, De Bruyne considering leaving this summer would be understandable, and pointed to the 115 charges that are hovering over the club as a reason he could try to depart.
He said: “What’s going to happen to Manchester City a year from now? With the 115 charges. We don’t know when it is going to fall down.
“For others and for him, what is going to happen? You have an opportunity to get so much money that you have never, ever dreamt about. That might be the time to go.”
De Bruyne could still depart

Pep Guardiola may have recently cast doubt on De Bruyne leaving this summer, but it is definitely still a possibility.
The report about De Bruyne being reluctant to go due to uprooting his family was interesting. While that would be an understandable stance to take, surely it would be the same for the player regardless of when he would make the move.
De Bruyne was recently reported to have been impressed by the wages on offer in Saudi.
Leboeuf is right, it is an opportunity for him, and the player has achieved all there is to achieve at City and doesn’t really have anything left to prove.
And it is not out of the question that De Bruyne could seek to depart with those 115 charges hanging over the club. We don’t yet know if the club will be punished, but De Bruyne might just be looking to depart before there are developments on that.
