Bayern Munich are pushing vigorously to sign Tottenham forward Harry Kane this summer.
C’s transfer saga has taken a fresh twist as it has been reported that Bayern Munich chiefs
jetted to London on Thursday night to hold talks with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy. The Bundesliga outfit
are adamant that the striker is keen to join their side, though it remains to be seen whether they leave
England without a new No 9.
Kane was Spurs’ saving grace last season, scoring 30 goals in 38 Premier League appearances, and
almost single-handedly guiding the club to a European finish – only to miss out on the final day of the
season to Aston Villa.
The England international has consistently been linked with a move away from North London,
with Manchester City holding an interest previously and Manchester United weighing up a bid earlier
this summer. Though a move abroad now looks like the only plausible exit plan for Kane.
Thomas Tuchel is desperate to acquire the services of the 29-year-old and feel that he is the ideal
candidate to lead the line for Bayern next season. According to The Sun, chiefs from
the Bundesliga outfit flew into London on Thursday in the hope of reaching a deal to sign Kane.
A ‘delegation’ met with Levy at a hotel to discuss the future of Kane and sound out how keen they are to
acquire his services. Bayern tabled a £60million bid for the striker earlier this summer, which was
rejected, and reports in Germany have speculated that a fresh offer is currently on the table.
Following Karim Benzema’s decision to head to Saudi Arabia in June, Real Madrid also identified Kane
as the ideal acquisition but the La Liga outfit were informed that a fee ‘north of £100m’ would be
required for Levy to allow his No 9 to depart.
Bayern believe that they can negotiate a lesser fee due to the player’s desire to join them, and are hopeful
of playing on Kane’s contract situation to prompt Spurs to reconsider their stance. The striker has just 12
months left on his current deal with Tottenham and there has been no indication as to whether he would
be willing to pen another contract extension with the club.
Given that Sadio Mane is attracting plenty of interest in the Saudi Pro League, Bayern’s need for a
forward could become a significant priority and they may be forced to cave into Tottenham’s expensive
demands if alternatives, such as Randal Kolo Muani, are deemed unattainable.

Report: Spurs now ‘growing in confidence’ of winning race for Serie A player
It is explained that Financial Fair Play concerns are now mounting at Juventus, which could open the
door for some first-team regulars, including Bremer, to depart.
Spurs are growing in confidence over Bremer
The report states that while Juventus do not wish to lose the Brazilian, they could be forced to listen to
offers for him in order to balance their books.
It is alleged that the Old Lady could be tempted to recoup the £43m they paid to sign the centre-back
from Torino last summer.
Football Insider claim that Bremer ranks high on Ange Postecoglou’s wishlist, with the Juve star seen as
someone who ticks ‘a lot of boxes’ for the Australian.
The outlet adds that the Brazil international has been a long-term target for Spurs, with the club
allegedly trying to sign from Torino last summer prior to his switch to the Allianz Stadium.
Spurs Web Opinion
Juventus have many sellable assets in their squad apart from Bremer, which is why I would be surprised
if the Serie A giants consider any offer below the £55m-£60m mark for Bremer. Tottenham could
arguably find better options for that price range such as Marc Guehi.
