DONE DEAL: Spurs completes another summer deal for a vital attacker with an excellent performance; both teams have reached an agreement.
Tottenham have already started identifying potential targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.
It has been recently reported by the reliable Spurs insider Paul O Keefe that the club will prioritise signing a winger over a centre forward in the upcoming transfer window.
And among the wide attackers linked with a move includes Barcelona’s Raphinha and Wolves’ Pedro Neto.
Gary Jacob, a journalist with The Times, has affirmed Spurs’ interest in the 23-year-old Portuguese winger Neto.
According to the report, Tottenham have been closely monitoring Neto’s performances, with a view to making a move for him in the summer transfer window.
Jacob also suggests that Wolves may be open to considering offers for Neto if a significant bid in the region of £60 million is tabled at the end of the season.
Financial Fair Play regulations could compel Wolves to entertain such offers, potentially leading to Neto’s departure from the club.
The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for Wolves this season, contributing two goals and nine assists in 16 Premier League appearances, taking his overall tally for the club to 14 goals and 24 assists in 130 appearances across all competitions.
And the player made sure to impress Tottenham fans yesterday with a stunning assist for Joao Gomes’ winning goal against them.

Tottenham may face a potential loss of £10 million following the injury sustained by their former midfielder, Dele Alli.
Alli left North London during the winter transfer window of 2022, joining Everton initially on a free transfer, with the possibility of the deal rising to £40 million contingent upon meeting specific performance criteria.
The initial £10 million payment would be triggered once the attacking midfielder completes 20 appearances for the Toffees.
Spurs, who anticipated receiving that payment, may now miss out due to the former England international undergoing groin surgery last month, making it unlikely for him to feature again this season.
Alli has made 13 appearances for Everton thus far, leaving just seven more appearances to reach the threshold the Lilywhites have been eagerly awaiting.
Everton manager Sean Dyche, also recently acknowledged that the 27-year-old might not play again this season.
According to the Mirror, Tottenham attempted to renegotiate the payment terms in December but were unsuccessful. The North London club proposed reducing the payment to £8 million if the required number of appearances was also lowered. However, Everton reportedly turned down the offer.
Alli, who is yet to score or provide an assist for the Toffees, will see his contract expire in the summer, effectively preventing Spurs from ever receiving the performance-related add-ons.
The 27-year-old was at his peak under Mauricio Pochettino and was regarded as one of the best young midfielders in the league.
He made 269 appearances for Spurs, scoring 67 goals and assisting 61. Unfortunately for him, he struggled under Mourinho and was eventually let go, with his career going downhill from there.
