Trent Alexander-Arnold Has Revealed His Emotions Concerning Trending Picture Of Him
Based on their availability, Potter, Carrick, and McKenna are the front-runners to replace Ten Hag, but Manchester United has a few more viable choices.
The current manager of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann, has a contract that expires after Die Manschaft’s hosting of EURO 2024.
However, Alexander-Arnold experienced a minor wardrobe malfunction which was unfortunately picked up by the cameras.
When preparing for the corner, the versatile right-back appeared to pull down his shorts, exposing his backside to viewers before taking the set-piece.
The Liverpool vice-captain won’t care too much, though, with the Reds heading into the break 1-0 to the good.
“Trent just got an assist with his arse crack hanging out he can really do it all,” a fan commented on Twitter.
Another person wrote on Twitter: “I’m crying how didn’t Trent feel the -2 degrees breeze on his ass cheeks?”
A third laughed, saying something like, “Trent putting the ass in assist.”
“Trent literally mooned the camera with his ass,” a fourth person commented. Next, execute a superb cross to receive assistance. My calf.”
As things stand, Liverpool will continue to trail leaders Arsenal by two points in the Premier League standings.
Conversely, Sheffield United will continue to be, excuse the pun, at the bottom.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp identifies £25m transfer target after Joel Matip injury
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has lost Joel Matip to a season-ending knee injury after the 32-year-old suffered a ruptured ACL injury.
The defender is also out of contract this summer and the Reds need new recruits
Jurgen Klopp could be forced into the market for a new centre-half – and Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix is on their radar.
Liverpool boss Klopp has lost Joel Matip to a season-ending knee injury after the 32-year-old suffered a ruptured ACL injury.
Matip is also out of contract this summer and Liverpool were already looking to strengthen their defence for the long term.
Lacroix, 23, who was born in France and represented his country at youth level, could be available at £25m-plus but Liverpool would look to try and negotiate for any player into the final two years of their deal.
Powerful defender Lacroix is a regular for Wolfsburg who are mid-table in the Bundesliga but, at his best, he is known for being a commanding centre-half.
Virgil van Dijk makes promise to Joel Matip after Liverpool star suffers devastating injury
Liverpool captain Van Dijk knows exactly how Matip feels having gone through a similar lay-off and has already reached out to his teammate to offer his help and support
Virgil van Dijk has promised to help Joel Matip come back from his devastating knee injury.
Matip will undergo surgery after scans confirmed that he has a ruptured ACL which will rule the 32-year-old out for the rest of the season.
Van Dijk knows exactly how Matip feels having gone through a similar lay-off and has already reached out to his teammate to offer his help and support.
It is particularly tough for Matip because his current contract is due to expire next summer and it may also push Liverpool to move into the market.
Liverpool captain Van Dijk said: “It’s tough for everyone to take. I feel very sorry for him and his family. It hurts for all of us. I’ve reached out to him already. Joel is a fantastic player and has been for so many years for this club. As a friend, it’s difficult to see.
Knowing what he will go through now over the next weeks and months, it’s tough. But we are here for him. Whenever he needs us, we will be there for him. First and foremost, let’s hope the surgery will go well and the route to getting back starts.”
Van Dijk went through a similar experience after a knee injury suffered in October 2020 while Joe Gomez also endured the same. Van Dijk said: “I spoke to Joe Gomez about it after we got the news. Me and Joey can relate. We know what he will go through and what his family will go through. It’s not easy. But he will get all the support from us as a team — that’s the least we can do and we will do.”
It is a hammer blow for Liverpool because injuries, fatigue and fixtures are catching up with them despite this turning out to be a hugely impressive season.
They are in the title race, balancing Europa League games and in the domestic cups so face a frantic December in which youngster Jarell Quansah may get more chances in defence.
