4 NBA Teams Express Interest In Adding Blake Griffin.
Blake Griffin is no longer the superstar he was early in his career, but he still has his fair share of admirers around the NBA.
As things presently stand, Griffin is one of the bigger names without a home ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Last year, Griffin averaged 4.1 points per game on 48.5 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent shooting from beyond the arc in 14 minutes of
action per outing for the Boston Celtics.
Clearly the 34-year-old’s career is winding down, but he can still offer a few good minutes in short bursts to the right team – even if he does come
with some off-the-court drama at times.
According to NBA insider Sam Amico, four teams currently have interest in Griffin.
“It is believed the [Philadelphia] 76ers and [Golden State] Warriors are among some of the other teams interested in Griffin, as may be the [Los
Angeles] Clippers, the team with which Griffin’s career began,” Amico wrote.
“He has been an All-Star five times, the last coming with the Pistons during the 2018-19 season.”
Amico also noted that Boston still had interest in bringing Griffin back, which the Celtics have been quite open about.
The Sixers are obviously in a state of flux right now. How the James Harden situation plays out will ultimately dictate what moves they make along
the periphery.
Golden State, Los Angeles and Boston are in a pretty stable place, though.
It really wouldn’t be all that shocking to see Griffin end up with any of those three.
Obviously Griffin’s relationship with the Clippers didn’t end on the best of terms, but a lot of time has passed since. It’s hard to see that being a
legitimate roadblock.
Where will Griffin ultimately end up playing when everything is said and done this summer? Time will tell.

Boston Celtics reported to have worked out former Slam Dunk champion
Three forwards apparently was not a large enough pool for Brad Stevens to fill out his final two roster spots. According to a report by SNY’s Ian
Begley, the Boston Celtics have worked out 29-year-old former University of Michigan wing Glenn Robinson III.
The report comes just a day after The Athletic confirmed Boston will bring in both T.J. Warren and Lamar Stevens for a workout this week. Louis
King was also included on the list of potential options, reported by HoopsHype.
Robinson III lasted played in a competitive NBA game on February 8, 2021, for the Sacramento Kings. The former Pacers’ No. 40 has played for six
NBA organizations, starting in 32 regular season contests over three seasons in Indiana. After lifting the 2017 Slam Dunk Contest trophy at All-Star
weekend, Robinson III suffered numerous injuries before bouncing around with four franchises.
The former No. 40 overall selection has amassed a 37% shooting percentage from the great beyond. That lands in the area that the Celtics would want
if he is tasked with time off the bench. Unlike the former Cavalier Stevens, Robinson III would be a plus offensively while holding his own on the
other end of the floor.
His most productive season on the offensive end was in Golden State when he shot 40% from the 3-point line and averaged nearly 13 points per game
in 48 starts under a Steve Kerr-led team. With a six-foot-nine wingspan standing approximately 6-foot-6, the son of the former 1994 NBA first overall
draft pick possesses quality size in what is going to be a limited role.
It is reported that both his former ball club the Golden State Warriors, and the C’s conference rival Milwaukee Bucks. Realistically, Boston could fill
out the team with two of these four players. The more likely result is one of these players is going to win a spot, leaving a vacancy for another need
closer to the campaign. The $6 million TPE via the Grant Williams sign-and-trade with the Dallas Mavericks would come to use in the buyout
market. Due to the fact that he has not competed in the NBA in a while, it should not be a problem discussing how he may sit behind both Sam
Hauser and Oshae Brissett.
Glenn Robinson III could be a solid Boston Celtics addition given his shooting history and jumping ability
Though he does not have a history of lighting up the Celts, Robinson III is someone who is seeking a chance that a team like the Boston Celtics could
provide him. Not having competed on an NBA floor since 2021 raises some red flags, but the Indiana native is not even 30 years old. The individual
who fills that role is not going to be asked to do a whole lot. The former King holds quality numbers in an area where Boston is bound to finish at the
top of the league in.
It is up to the organization, but with his electric athleticism, there are bound to be a few highlight-reel plays in green and white if he is given the nod.
